Big City Burlesque #1 2007, Acrylic on Un-Stretched Canvas

This is the first painting in a series I would like to explore with the amazing and talented Ladies of Big City Burlesque... Diamond Ice, (fan dancer), suggested the charity she supports through the 3 Day Walk for Cancer 2009. 20% of the sale of this original will support their cause by working to fight a disease that destroys lives, and to educate better ways to catch it early on... I have also committed income to both the Ladies in these images and Big City Burlesque for working with me to effect some real change. If the series is shown publicly in the future I would like credit given to the photographers that contributed their images to Big City Burlesque for their website. The Art of Burlesque is a dance of feminine control and sensuality, and it is a true art of dance for it's performers to Master. It is an honor to know the unique and beautiful Ladies of Big City Burlesque, and I am glad to work with them on the capacity we are working together...Thank you, Kenton and Everyone at Big City Burlesque for inspiring this series through your commitment to the Art of Burlesque.
